An independently owned brewery located outside of Wellington NZ that produces hand-crafted British and European beer styles as interpreted exclusively with New Zealand malt and hops. We're Off-Licensed and an easy 5 minute walk from the Upper Hutt train station and Upper Hutt's Brewtown.

Bottle. Hazy orange with a white head. Juicy aroma with sweet pineapple, honeydew melon, menthol. Light bodied - a bit watery even. Tropical fruit, some pine and spices. Not much in the way of malt; feels a bit empty for 5%. Moderate bitterness. Refreshing.

Bottle. Plae, slightly hazy gold with a white head. Aroma of minerals with lemons, some berries. Very slighly sour. Fuller bodied than you might expect at 4%, a slight slipperiness to it might account for that. Some berries, a bit cardboardy. Not at salty as the first whiff suggests. OK.

#2000. Near black with a tan head. Toasty coconut, caramel malt, big chocolate, light booze, toasted malt. Finish is sweet coconut with a hint of bittersweet chocolate. Chewy, but medium body. Stellar brew. This was my favorite brew at Beervana, 2014.

Draft. Dark maroon brown color, tan edge head. Aroma of light cocoa. Taste is dilute moccha coffee. Light body.
