Bottle. Clear light amber with a dense near white head. Aroma of mandarins, tropical boiled lollies. But a bit leaner than suggested by the aroma and the fruity and floral hops grip a bit more. Brief, moderately bitter, dryish end. Not bad at all.

Very nice full bodied Apa. Aromas of pine, pepper and lemongrass. Plenty of bitterness and a really nice palate. Bottle from the Clunes IGA.

500mL bottle, pours a jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is intense, with heaps of woody whiskey barrels, medium roast, and more wood - damn, that is intense and complex. Flavour is remarkably complex, with intense whiskey barrels, medium roasted malt, and some dark dried fruits. Wonderful whiskey barrel character, finishing fruity and roasted. This is lovely.

500ml bottle at Brian's. Pours a very dark brown with the same head. Aroma is whiskey, alcohol, cookies, some grape juice. Taste is very oily, molasses, smoky, inky notes. Weird. Ok.

Dark chocolate and dark molasses. Deep jetbrown with a rich brown head. Deep dark chocolate with a long silky finish. Huge rich finish with a touch of heat. Very nice.

Pours amber with a quickly fading head.Nose shows nutty malt, cardboard, biscuity malt. Very English-style malt notes.Similar flavours. A big focus on the malt, slightly on the sweet side.
