Rated at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2024 (MBCC). Heavy, intense with barrel notes, some wheaty bourbon, vanilla and warming alcohol. Intense.

Draft at Meridian Voodoo. Clear amber pour, tight white foamy head. Light fruity aroma, caramel. Taste is sweet, toffee, hoppy, malty, but pretty gentle, meaning the ABV isn't readily apparent. Pleasant surprise.

MBCC. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and heavy whisky. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish with with lots of alchol. 110524

Sample at MBCC2024, Copenhagen. Colour is very dark brown with small head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, whiskey, dryness... pretty dry!
