Sweet vanilla and sugar with some nice antipodean hops kicking in delivering some white grape, melon, citrusy lemon and grapefruit, nice body, sweet and hoppy finish. Not a favourite style but this works really well here imho.

Can, from Broadway Dive Bar, Manhattan NYC (Apr 2025). Pours extremely hazy dark rich yellow, like orange juice, foamy off-white head, citrus-pineapple aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter citrus-mango taste with faint pineapple, strong alcohol undertones, smooth body, long finish. Easy to drink despite the ABV.

I think this was from D&Q in Houston. Great place. Can stamped 12/29/24.
Clear, pale honey pour, super tall soapy head.
Malty sweet nose, weak herbal, prickly black pepper nose. Smells like whatever lager.
Soapy, sharp herbal hops, acidy, super subtle savory smoke, sweet honeyed malt, salty, lingering soap.
Frothy, slightly chewy, premium feels with better hops.
Okay as a quafff, not as a $6 beer.

16 oz can. Pours cloudy brick red with a half finger pinkish white head that settles into a ring somewhat quickly. Aroma has notes of strawberry, chocolate, freshly mown grass. Taste is moderately sour (7/10) with flavors of strawberry and very subtle chocolate.

16oz can from Tavour. Murky yellow pour, persistent silky white head. Tropical fruit aroma with a boozy kick. Taste turns over to a citrusy vibe, grapefruit, pineapple, zesty. The ABV is up front and not super noticeable at the finish.
