Description
Evil Twin Brewing was started up “nomadically” in 2010 by Jeppe Jarnit- Bjergso. In 2012, Jeppe and his family decided to make New York City their home and join the burgeoning local beer scene. In 2016, Jeppe was approached with the opportunity to finally root his ideas & dreams and Evil Twin Brewing NYC was born.
At Evil Twin Brewing NYC we wanted to expand upon the traditions of innovation & further it with the intimacy of a local neighborhood microbrewery. With more control over our recipes, we are able to experiment on new flavors while perfecting the classics.
Collaboration is a huge part of Evil Twin Brewing NYC & we are excited to be able to host & collaborate with all the amazing brewers in NYC and throughout the world within our very own home base! We strive to be a community space for all of Ridgewood and Queens and our goal is that our brewery and taproom becomes a place for locals and beer tourists alike.
Our Queens brewery has been a long time coming & we are thrilled to have a home where our families, friends, and neighbors have a place to share our love for great beer, food & culture with the Ridgewood community, NYC, & the world!

(473ml can from Glasbanken) Pours opaque medium red with a tiny pink head and no lace. Notes of ripe juicy black currants, raspberries, lime zest, sweet lactose hits, fresh leaves, berry skins, light lactic/berry tartness, some mineral dryness in the back, largely a fruit bomb smoothie but it's quite okay for that. Medium body, high carbonation at first that fizzes out rapidly for a smoother sip. Solid fruit smoothie business for sure.

(473ml can from Glasbanken) Pours opaque orange-gold with a small white head. Aroma is punchy Mosaic, loaded with orange juice, mango, grapefruit, wet conifers, weed, touches of berries, and a bit of bright citrus zest. Flavour is off-dry and citrusy, with lots of orange and touches of tangerine, hints of dark berries, lots of fresh leaves and conifer, moderately dank, very subtle soft malts. Dry low bitterness finish with lingering oranges and fresh leaves, slightly powdery maybe. Medium body, smooth and soft, with low carbonation. Quality Mosaic-lead joint, appreciate how recent IPAs from here have not been terribly sweet either. Quite drinkable.

(473ml can from Glasbanken) Pours quite hazy gold with a white head. Notes are citrus-heavy, lots of white grapefruit, orange, tangerine, other mixed zesty notes in there, maybe some underripe pineapple, quite lightly sweet for style with very subtle malt, very clean and crisp, mineral, with light bitterness in the bone dry finish that's citrus peel-dominated. Medium-ish body that's soft and creamy but with fairly high prickling carbonation mitigating it. Nice bright crisp drinker here!

Can picked up at Himmeriget, Copenhagen - pours jet black with a small brown head. Dark sweet and roasted malty with some opulent chocolate, some caramel and maple sweetness, layers of spice and dark fruit throughout, smooth mouthfeel and full body, cinnamon edged spiced warming sweet malty finish. Gorgeous stuff. Really liking Evil Twins new NYC brewery beers, knocking out some great stuff recently. --- Beer merged from original tick of Parlez-Vous Franais Toast on 26 Mar 2025 at 11:54 - Score: 8.
