33cl bottle share @ Niamey's 3rd craft beer tasting, big cheers to Madalin for logging around 30 Romanians bottles to Africa. BB 28/02/2018. Brune, col fin beige. Arôme offre un bouquet assez basique tirant plus sur l'allemand, caramel, rétro de mélanoid apportant des effluves surfaites de douceur. Palais est malté, caramel, pâle avec une note poudreuse et un effet persistant de grillé. Houblonné noble assez moyen qui laissant cette bière plus sur une dunkel qu'un porter.

Last summer at La 100 de Beri, Bucharest. Shared with lovely Anja. Murky golden, minimal head. Mostly malty and grainy. Crisp, lightly dry. Light body, moderate carbonation, light finish. Very thin and empty.

Last summer at La 100 de Beri, Bucharest. Shared with lovely Anja. Black, off-white head. Malts, slightly off. Roasty only in flavour. Quite dry. Thin, soft to moderate carbonation, dry finish with some hops. Average. Too thin.

Last summer at La 100 de Beri, Bucharest. Shared with lovely Anja. Hazy amber, small to medium off-white head. Balanced malty sweetness, toasty and light grassy hops. Light to medium body, medium carbonation, light finish, soft. Good for this style, maybe a bit more alcohol and hops than usual.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Murky amber, off-white head. Some citrus and herbal spice, notes of cooked vegetables. The taste is dry and juicy, herbal and pine bitterness. Has that chewy, rough but juicy young beer mouthfeel. Dryer and less smelly than the regular version, but the additional dry hopping didn't help. Drinkable.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Hazy mahogany, beige head. Rich fruity caramel, but that is not able to mask the strong cooked corn behind it. Similar taste, juicy fruity caramel, dry pungent bitterness. But again, some cooked corn knocks of a few tenths off the score. Would have been nice, otherwise.

Bottle in trade with ciocanelu, cheers Silviu! Pours almost black with a small fine bubbly tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, and light coffee and nut. Medium plus sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Finish is dry, sweet and malty.

BOTTLE 33 CL (free sample from the brewery). Hazy ruby-brown, beige head. Lots of jammy fruit and caramel, some sticky molasses and just a dash of DMS-y cereals. Similar taste, pretty heavy on caramel, but also quite bitter, with spicy grassy and piney finish. Quite good and clean.

Bottle. Pours opaque black, medium tan creamy head, good lacing. Aroma is roasty, cocoa, molasses. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, roasty, cocoa. Medium body.

Bottle. Pours hazy Amber, small off white head, dissipates quickly, some lacing. Aroma is wort, caramel. Flavor is really sweet, wort, more wort. Medium body. Totally unfinished.
