Draught at Sita’s, Gibsons
Hazy amber color. Caramel aroma, mild. Caramel flavor, simple, with toasted notes; ordinary bitterness. It’s a hot day, and it’s an easy beer to drink.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy amber color; creamy head. Nice arom aof creamy hops. Good body; caramel flavor, bold, a bit chewy, with piney resins from the generous hopping, but also a strange coffee feeling.
Nothing special, a bit hard for an IPA.

Hazy golden color, almost no head. The aroma is mild, there is some coriander. Bold body structure; the spicy character is present, but it’s moderately sweet, too much for a Tripel, and quite oily; there is some fruitiness, esters, from the yeast; strong bitterness; the alcohol feeling is also too evident.
Approximate.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear golden with a medium off-white head. Aroma of candied sugar, apples and some Belgian yeast. Flavour of sweetened apples and pears, lots of yeast, some dry citrus peel, with mild astringency. Very good - very authentic tasting.
