Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours black with a vague tint of red and a small, rough beige head. Rustic woody and gluey nose - a rather harsh barrel impact here. Medium body, rough roastiness - very rough. Alcohol is not all that prominent. Some malty bitterness. Flawed and very.....rustic! 150812

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours a hazy reddish golden with a very lively and frothy white head that dissipates pretty quickly. Fresh berry aroma - more raspberry than strawberry, a little baking yeast up there too. Light body, slightly tart and salty - sulphurous too perhaps, again berry notes. Carbonation is very lively. But overall quite interesting. 150812

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours a clear golden with a lively yet quickly dissipating white head. Tart, farty, Bretty nose. Medium body, heavy carbonation - almost violent -, a little sweet caramel and vanilla, sulphur and biscuits with a slightly tart finish. Not too bad for what it is. 030612

Sample from a bottle at Jackie O’s as part of Ohio Brew Week. Pours a hazy reddish-brown color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing. Berries and malt in the nose. Medium body with a tart fruity character and notes of sweet malt and yeast. The finish is fruity with a raspberry aftertaste. Decent overall.
