12 ounce bottle. Number one with a bullet. Copper red color. Small frothy tan head. Malty aroma hints at caramel and smoke. Sweet toffee smokiness upfront. Sticky mouthfeel. Malty brown sugar notes in finish.

12 ounce twist off bottle, 10.17.20. Almost murky orange, thin fizzy tan head, good retention. Aroma of pale malt and mild citrus. Taste is tangerine, lime, pale malt. Medium bodied mild bitterness. Kinda boring.

Well, when I looked at the can I have to say that I was confused. Is it a fruit beer, or a happy belgian-style, or a Belgian tripel? Some odd combination of those Maybe? It is Well carbonated which is traditional and a plus. Through with all those other things going on it's like it can't decide it wants to be. The result is it's none of them very well. It's okay.

Keg at Santino's, 11/5/19. Clear, copper, large foamy head, good retention. Comes across as a pale lager but with a good bit of caramel to balance the grassiness. Crisp, quenchable. Solid overall .

Bottle at 2/$1 at local Dollar Tree. Pours brown with a decent beige head that rapidly fizzed away. Smells like root beer. Med minus body. Tastes like root beer. A bit sweet, but not overly sugary. Carbonation is not strong. Decent for what it is.

I don't love the style, but with the German heritage of WI, Milwaukee, and Sprecher itself, we have some pretty good examples.
