Bottled. Hazy orange colour, almost no head. Aroma is caramel, hops, yeast, wheat and bready malts. Flavour is caramel, sweet malts and hops. Pleasant mix and very smooth. Some fruity notes come especially in the finish.

Bottled. Orange/dark nutty brown colour, off-white head. Aroma is leather, malts and a bit hops. Flavour is quite the same with also some nuts in it. A lot like Orkney’s Skull splitter in my opinion.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 30 Sep) Amber colour with disappearing off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with some malt sweetness and notes of figs and dates. Same goes for the taste: malty and fruity with figs and raisins. Initially sweet, turning into a drier finish with flowery hops. Well balanced and tasty.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 30 Sep) Pitch black colour with brown, disappearing, head. Malty nose with soft notes of chocolate and coffee with milk. Roasted taste with chocolate, hints of smoke and well balanced notes of citrussy hops in the finish. Rather dry, medium body. Very good and balanced, but wouldn’t suffer from some more punch.

[Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival] Clear dark amber. Fruits and peat hits my nose heavy at first contact. Fairly sweet with some green apples and near full body. Lots of malt in here, and the mouthfeel is gracefully soft, but green apples disturbs.

[Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival] Very dark brown, small head. Roasty coffee aroma. Light bodied with clean mouthfeel. Centered around the roasty malt, it’s fragile intriguing malt flavours are really something extra. The hard mouthfeel distracts, and prevents it from becoming world class.

[Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival] Hazy deep golden. Lightly almondy nose. Medium sweet with bnotes of caramel, syrup and banana as well as esters. Clean but somewhat mushy mouthfeel. No bitterness. Pretty good, if a little unrefined.
