[Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival] Clear golden. Buttery malt aroma. Medium sweet with chewy, buttery malt character. Crisp with light grassty hoppiness and solid body. Thoroughly well made pale bock.

Bottle. Strong malt aroma with maple syrup notes. Dark reddish amber color. Maple syrup and malt flavor. Smooth drinking. A very nice Oktoberfest beer with a bit of an American twist.

Nice crystal clear copper color with thin white head. Light aroma of pale malts and some breadiness. The bottle stated “complex flavor” really does come out. I taste pale malts, sweet caramel malts, wheat, toffee, breadiness and a bit of hop bitterness. It all goes together nicely too. Very good for when you’re in the mood to consume mass quantities.

Pours very dark, much like a stout, with a quickly dissipating brown head. Aroma is of burnt malts and coffee. The flavor is burnt malt with a coffee influence. There are supporting flavor notes coming from a bit of molasses sweetness and dark chocolate. This beer is light in carbonation and light in body. Might even be a bit on the watery side. Nice taste, good beer.

Hazy yellow color with thin white head. Sweet malt and wheat aroma. I also smell some banana. Very nice Hefe Weiss flavor. Perfect for a hot day like today. Mild sweetness plays against grain flavors. Refreshing sour lemon and hop bitterness bits along the edge of my tongue. Solid beer for the style.

Clear golden color with thin white head. Bready and pale roasted malt smell. The aroma is a bit too mild. Flavor begins with some pale malt, wheat and brown sugar sweetness. Soon after some hops enter the picture. Beyond midway the flavor is punctuated by more sugar sweetness and a bit of alcohol. Real nice tasting brew. I love the pale maltiness addition.

Kind of a light copper color with thin white head. Fairly light aroma of sweet malts and maybe a little hops. There is an assertive hop presence that outweighs the traditional Mai Bock sweet maltiness. Nice well rounded beer. Sweet malt lingers into the after taste.

Compact 16 oz bottle. Pours more copper than amber with light tan head. The aroma is very light and seems to consist of two different malts. One is a lightly roasted variety, Munich maybe, the other is a bit more roasted. The flavor might have a touch of the lightly roasted grains but it is more roasted malts or slightly nutty. The hops actually come through a bit stronger than the malts. It is a nicely balanced light tasting beer.

Pours ruby black into a shaker. Brown conglomerate head slowly recedes leaving no lacing. Prune, fig, and caramel malt notes. Upfront chocolate and dried fruit with an thin, sweet, smokey lasting finish.

Thanks to CaptainCougar for sharing this at kp’s Cleear Party. Pours with a fleeting off-white head over a clear deep brown body. Malty bourbon soaked aroma. Sweet and full bodied; you taste what you found in the aroma. The alcohol is hidden well.
