170ml draught at Ølhallen. Filmy layer over a deep brown body, upper part lacing on the glass. Roasted aromas of dark caramel. Balanced taste profile of caramel and dried fruits. Malt-driven end with roasted bitterness. Medium bodied. Nice enough. (Tromsø, 09.12.2025).

440 ml can, as Wettre Julekula Barrel Aged 2025, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.0%. Beautiful clear mahogany colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of malts, oak and aquavit spices, hints of caramel, brown bread and liquorice. Flavour with the same elements, some sweetness but not too much, low bitterness.

AIH205. Ambery brown colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel, some toffee and mild toasted tones with a bit of nutty tones. Flavour is nutty, caramelly, mildly toasted with some toffee and mild wooden tones. Clean brown ale.
