Bottle. It pours an unclear chestnut colored body under a dense, finger thick beige head. The aroma is lightly roasted and earthy, with toffee, bread and a hint of something peat-like. It's medium bodied, semi-dry and softly carbonated, with flavors of bread, toffee, roasted malts and some earthy hints. Long make driven finish. Hints of sulphur. A decent one indeed, but a bit sweet perhaps.190301

On tap at the brewpub, Kråka. Some curtains left from a dense light tan head. Dark reddish brown body, and a sweetish aroma of caramel, dried fruits, roasted malts, some burnt notes and molasses. The flavor has a little bitterness towards the finish, with sweet caramel and dried fruits flavors initially, along with roasted and burnt malts. Full body and a soft carbonation level. Overall, a bit on the sweet side, and a tad dull, but sure not bad. 190222

Can. It pours a clear golden body under a small off-white head. The aroma is grassy and lightly spiced, with pine cones, some hay and a vague touch of bread. It could use a tad more bitterness, else the flavor is quite nice, and pretty similar to the aroma. Maybe a bit too sweet too, but just a tad. Pine cones, grass, hay, spice hints, flower notes, birch leave hints and some bready malts in the back. Even a light caramel touch. Sort of sweetish and fruity finish. Sure a decent pilsner, although a bit sweeter than preferred, especially in the swallow. 190301

On tap at the brewpub, Kråka. A dark brown to black beer with a dense finger thick brown head. Molasses, caramel, roasted malts, brown sugar and a meaty touch in the aroma. Roasted meat that is. It's full-bodied and close to sticky on the palate, with a rather low carbonation level. Sweet flavor with roasted malts, molasses, caramel, hints of Kongen av Danmark candy, guess that's some anise seed flavor, and brown sugar. Rather sweet finish. An unusual one, but nice. Can't really say I recognize the brunost, but it probably just adds sweetness and caramel. 190222 Uvanlig men bra.

On tap at the brewpub, Kråka. It pours an almost clear, golden colored body under a small, dense, white head. The aroma has a Belgian yeast kind of fruityness, it’s lightly spiced, with some alcohol and a pleasant and not overpowering ginger addition. It’s full-bodied, soft and lightly warming, with perhaps a bit too much sweetness. There’s some ginger warmth too, with a decent bitterness, along with flavors of fruityness, a touch of spices and alcohol, and of course ginger. Lasting finish, with the ginger slightly more dominating. A pleasant beer that doesn’t have too much ginger. One can easily spot other aromas and flavors. 190222

On tap at the brewpub, Kråka. It pours an unclear candy red body under a finger-thick pink head. Cherry, cherry pits and almond, some vinegar and grass in the aroma. Far from super complex, but quite pleasant. It’s dry and tart on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. Medium body. There’s a light sweetness in the flavor, with cherry and cherry pits doing most of the work. The vinegar and grass is more in the background than they were in the aroma. Long finish. A bit rough on the fruity sourness this one, and it feels a bit fresh, but it’s sure a decent first attempt. 190222

On tap at the brewpub, Kråka. A black beer with a small brown head. Sweetish caramel sauce aroma with some burnt notes and molasses. Alcohol, some dried fruits and a whiff of vanilla too. It’s full-bodied, warming and soft on the palate, with a decent bitterness and some piney hints. Caramel sauce, molasses, alcohol and some dried fruits in the flavor. The molasses lasts for a really long time and is running the show in the swallow. The vanilla is rather subdued all the way. A delicious, lightly edgy beer. 190222

On tap at the brewpub, Kråka. It pours an almost clear body, golden-orange in color, with a dense finger-thick off-white head leaving some lacing. The aroma is a bit grassy, with bread, some pine cones and citrus. Rather weak, both in aroma and flavor. There’s a very gently bitterness in the mouth, it’s full-bodied, soft and perhaps a bit sweetish, with grass, bready malts, some pine cones, citrus and a plum-like fruityness. Short finish, except for the grass and citrus that has a medium length. An easy drinkable but way too gentle beer. 190222

On tap at the brewpub, Kråka. It pours an uncear golden colored body with an orange tint. A minimal sized, dense, off-white colored head rests on top. The aroma has lots of banana, some cloves, bread and grass. The quite sweet flavor has banana, bread, clove notes and a touch of grass and bitterness. It’s medium bodied, and for the style rather low on carbonation. Lasting finish with too much grass. Well, it’s decent, but nothing more. Sure not my kind of weissbier. 190222

On tap at the brewpub, Kråka. It pours a clear chestnut body under a finger-thick light beige head. The aroma has caramel, a light burnt note, some coffee and light bread. It’s soft on the palate, nicely carbonated, with some sweetness. Medium to full body. The flavor is pretty much the same as the arome, with caramel and a burnt, coffee-ish malt note, some bread and in addition there’s a dried fruits sweetness and a decent bitterness. Lasting finish with a herbal touch. A quite nice grocery store strength Christmas beer. 190222
