Sample at the tasting room during Bourbon Barrel Aged Meads Release Day on 11/22/2015. Clear pale yellow color with tiny bubbles around the edges and sticky legs on the glass. Bourbon, honey and spice in the nose. Full-bodied with an oaky bourbon character with notes of floral honey and spiced fruit. The finish is boozy with a bourbon aftertaste. Good Mead all around.

Bottle thanks to Jsquire. Clear amber, cinnamon and honey aroma, sweetish taste with strong alcohol overtones, delicious smooth and long finish. Impressive.

Bottle. Pours clear pinkish Amber, no head, no lacing. Aroma is raspberry, honey, stems, cocoa. Flavor is light sweet, chocolate covered raspberries without the sweetness. Medium light body, interesting.

Sample at the Meadery during the Coffee Mead Release on 08/23/2015. Clear dark brownish-amber color with a minimal head and sticky legs on the glass. Aroma of coffee, fruit and honey. Full-bodied with flavors of roast coffee, bakers chocolate, honey and fruit. The finish is sweet with a mocha and honey aftertaste. Good Mead all around.

Sample at the Meadery during National Mead Day on 08/01/2015. This Mead is a purplish-red color with a minimal head and sticky legs on the glass. Aroma of berries, honey and slight peanuts. Full-bodied with flavors of mildly tart berries, honey and subtle peanut. The finish is fruity and sweet with a berry and roast peanut aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Medium to full body with a floral hibiscus flavors with some sweet honey in the background. The finish is sweet and floral with a hibiscus aftertaste. Above average overall.
