Bottle. Pour with clear yellow with good lace. Aromas are of bourbon, caramelized wood notes, vanillin, dry tannin, lots of heat. Spices are quite subdued compared to non BA version. Cinnamon toast crunch. Flavors are warming, mild potpurri spices, drying tannin, rich barrel vanillin. Lots of alcohol. Syrupy and well balanced (sweet vs acidity).

Bottles (2011 and 2012). 2012 bottle: Pour with a clear yellow hued body with no signs of carbonation and huge legs. Huge aroma with apple, warming allspice, woody, caramelized notes, floral. Sweet, potpurri, very heavy spicing balanced by sweetness and good acidity. Good and strong apple character, spiced pear. Well balanced. Viscous. Really nice. 2011 bottle has notes of ginger and cotton candy. Nutmeg and cardamom.

Cinnamon and ginger nose. Pale golden. Honey, ginger, cinnamon, and apple in that order. Medium body, alcohol appropriate. Addictive. I could easily drink this until I couldn’t see straight.
