Dark brown pour with a coarse tan head that disappears very quickly. Notes of deep espresso roast, vanilla and cocoa in the nose. The espresso notes follow in the taste, really intense, bitter and roasty, but roasty like a well-made shot of espresso, not like roasted grains. Quite a bit of maple syrup, its sweetness nicely subdued by the coffee, burnt caramel, rye whiskey, rum spices, bourbon, oak, cocoa nibs, vanilla. Incredibly rich, complex and damn delicious. And the coffee notes perfect, like no other brewery I have tried before. --- Beer merged from original tick of Morning Rush '17 (BA Maple Imperial Breakfast Stout) on 01 Jan 2019 at 21:04 - Score: 9. Original review text: Tons of cold-brewd coffee, espresso, maple syrup, rye whiskey, bourbon, subtle spiced rum, cocoa nibs, vanilla. So complex and delicious.4.6

Dark brown pour with a thin tan head. Notes of smooth bourbon, oak, light charred wood, sherry, cherries, dried fruit, chocolate, light roasted coffee beans, toffee. Smooth, rich, complex, maybe a bit boozy but my bottle was a bit warm. Great beer!

500ml bottle from G&M Liquors, Bakersfield. Nose is prunes, vanilla, bourbon, and a hint of chocolate. Black with a medium lightly lacing cinnamon tan head. Flavor is lightly sweet, dark fruit, vanilla, and light bourbon. Very good!

Murky brown pour with a tan head. Tons of toasted hazelnuts in the aroma, followed by roasted malts, light cocoa, chocolate, honey, caramel. Smooth texture, really easy to drink.

Hazy golden pour with a thin off-white head. Funky hops, citrus, mango, pineapple, dank pot, caramel, sweet grapefruit jelly, pomelo. Medium body and carbonation, and a bitter-sweet finish. Quite refreshing, lots of flavour. Delicious stuff.

Hazy amber pour with a fine-grained off-white head. Notes of brett, mouldy barrel, dank cellar, tons of wood, light tannins, light white wine, vanilla. Quite complex, a bit unbalanced towards oaky notes, but I am not complaining!

Can from Cap Tap. Pours very hazy, somewhat dirty, gold with a finely bubbled white head. Aroma is juicy - the fruits are much more than citrus. Med + body. Flavor is juicy and bitter. Mixed stone fruits with a light touch of citrus. It's not entirely dry, but it is well towards NW hoppy. Pleasingly bitter. Malt barely detectable, but clearly quite supportive. A very nice change from the NE style. Someone should have done this long ago.
