Bottle. A clear amber colored mead, flat and oily. The aroma has delicious coffee at first, then honey and a touch of alcohol joins. Caramel too. It's full-bodied, oily and lightly warming, semi-sticky, with lots of coffee-flavor. Caramel, honey and some alcohol. Warming, sweet finish with caramel, honey and a good dash of coffee. Not my favorite mead, but the blend of coffee, caramel and mead works well. More an evening drink than a breakfast drink I think. 201101

KØLF 250920. Red amber color with no head. Aroma is honey, raspberries, cocoa. Flavor is honey, raspberries, chili, coconut, vanilla. Nice mead.

330 ml clear bottle, batch #070, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 7.5%. Golden colour, pours moderately sparkling with a small and shortlived white head. Aroma of apples and honey. Moderate carbonation in the mouth, but not lifeless. Flavour also of apples and honey, no surprises there. Not overly sweet though. Refreshing and easy drinking.

Holy shit. I believe in…..something good And this one really rock your inner feelings Deep red in the glass. Looks wonderful Nice intensity in the aroma. Sweet, but not cloying. Pours dark reddish with no head. Aroma has notes of honey, apple, floral and alcohol. Taste is medium sweet with a long warm, honey, apple and floral finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.

0,25 litre Bottle from Vinmonopolet Lillehammer. Reddish amber with no head. Honey, cherries, raspberries, sweetness, some oak tones. Good stuff!

250 ml bottle, batch #049, as Mjøderiet Eventyrlyst Grimhilde, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 12.2%. Deep red colour, minimal carbonation. Aroma of honey, caramel, hibiscus and apples. Sweet flavour, with the same elements as the aroma, also noticeable alcohol. Okay, but as it was quite expensive, I probably won't buy it again.
