Vaso shaker. En el tocadiscos "Best dressed chiken in town", de Dr Alimantado sonando de fondo... Color dorado claro, ligeramente turbia, espuma blanca bien retenida. En nariz inmediatamente notas aromáticas de resina de cannabis, que recuerdan lejanamente a aquella fragancia que permanece en la malla del Ice-o-lator después de ser utilizada. Ya en boca se aprecia algo sedosa, agradablemente amarga, buenas nubes de lúpulo herbal y resinoso sobrevuelan un fondo ligeramente dulce, apacible...Final sutilmente astringente... Una cerveza simpática, rica, bien hecha fácil de disfrutar y que da muy buen rollo.

Catada en pinta, color dorado, espuma blanca de buena retención. Aroma fresco y apetecible a fruta tropical (mango , papaya), cantalupo, hierba fresca y ligera resina. En boca es ligeramente dulce y moderadamente amarga, equilibrada, jugosa con tonos afrutados y herbales que casan con su aroma. Una IPA muy rica para disfrutar con regularidad.

Tap at Malateste, Alicante. Dark brown with beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, light coffee. Taste is mainly coffee, dark chocolate, english hops.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Hazy and slightly dirty looking amber, thin pale tan head that fucks off quicker than Usain Bolt with his arse on fire. Palate is weirdly both light and yet slightly viscous. It's semi dry and has good fine minerally carbonation. Sweet malts, creamy toffee caramel, bit thin mind. Big sweet esters in the mid, bubblegum esters and fruity esters. Mild spice and slightly warming dry finish. Yeah feels like a quad on steroids. Good fun in small doses.

Pours golden with a minimal off-white head. Aroma: earthy hops, marmalade and citrus. Taste: citrus and marmalade. Pleasant earthy bitterness.

Bottle at home, picked up in Malaga, 08/10/23. Debating whether this is really a high boost Quad style wise ... Could sit in either camp really ... so moved to Quad. I won't be butt hurt if someone moves back to Belgian Strong. Almost clear golden amber with a good sized just off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is pear drop, caramel, stewed fruits, malt loaf, spice, hedgerow, grains. Taste comprises caramel, yeast esters, stewed fruits, dates, fruit cake mix, booze, toffee, raisins, light spice. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good kiss of alcohol. Fun enough Belgo affair if a touch 1D for the high boost.

On tap @Donde Nora, Madrid. 09/09/2023. Color negro espuma blanca escasa, aromas y sabores cereal, ácida, tostada, cuerpo ligero.

Tap at Malatesta, Alicante, Spain. Pours black, with a nice head of fine cream foam. Aroma is of coffee and licorice. Body is slightly thin, with average carbonation. Taste is medium sweet, with some roasty bitterness. Final is fairly long, roasty and with some sweetness.

33 cl bottle @ hotel room, Fuengirola. Batch #346, BBE 30.05.2025 Aroma is quite mild with cereal and grain. Flavour has stromg grsiny and gluey tones, some cereal, alcohol and even some phenol-like feeling. Also some spiciness. Boozy all the way but somewhat enjoyable.
