Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a small, off-white head over a clearish golden body. Aroma of candied sugar, grass, biscotti, honey, florals, vanilla and elderflower. Taste is sweet, nearly cloying, a bit of sour malt and some cotton candy. Light bubbles and a water like mouthfeel.

Bottle from the Coop in Davis, CA. Bright, clear golden color with small bubbles. Aroma is rather like golden apples. Medium body at least with mild carbonation. It is clean and refreshing. It’s apple with a little spice. Finish is a bit apple skin. Not getting much honey, and there’s just enough sugar for refreshment. Might be the best cider I’ve had.

Bottle from BevMo in Vacaville. Golden color with a fizzy ephemeral head. Aromas of light fruits with a touch of honey. Near medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is indeed like a bit of apple with some honey. Not sure about orange blossom. It is sweet, but also lightly astringent. Braggot. Ok. Not really a Kolsch, I’d say.

Bottle from BevMo in Vacaville. Fliptop bottle. Clear copper color with a creamy off-white head. Aromas of light fruits and yeast. Medium body with creamy carbonation. It’s a bit honey, a bit pear, a bit mildly roasted caramel. Lots of hints of other stuff. Finishes a bit more sweet than dry. Rather good stuff.
