On tap at the meadery. Pours rich deep gold. Pear, vanilla, cinnamon, rum, nutty, rich nutty oak, sweet caramelized pear. Nice oily body. Excellent.

Bottle pour. Pours very dark red. Cherry, black currant, tart currant, blackberry, sweet jammy, clean tartness, little fragrant elderflower vanilla stuff. Medium body. Very nice.
Nice vanilla and maple notes from the barrel I'm guessing, bit jammy but mostly candied notes, brown sugar and smooth uniqueness.
Mead is strange
What's better than banana, banana with strawberry! And honey! Dark caramel color packed with banana upfront and solid strawberry flavor throughout. Lovely fun!

Pours dark, browned purple. Scent is full, intense berry character (with fruity acidity present). milder, but not lost woodyness. honey backbone. Thick and sweet. Taste is very full, intense hit of berries. Smooth vanilla greatness. mild on wood (perhaps fueling the vanilla) very sweet . intense and pure. Quite a long finish. Balanced by fruit acidity. Quite damn nice indeed !

Meadvent calendar 23. Dark purplish red. Smell is rich, sweet, heavy blueberry, rich cinnamon, maple. Mouthfeel is light but sticky, soft. Taste is sweet, with loads going on. Slight tartness, loads of blueberries, spicy rich cinnamon, marshmallow too. What a very decadent and intense bunch of flavours, yet still very balanced. All things combine great. Excellent and delicious mead!

Meadvent calendar 3. Nice looking golden copper, seems thick. Big smell, plenty of nana, some alcohol, sweet. Sticky body, good thickness. Taste is sweet with a light trace of tartness. Loads of ripe banana, countered by juicy strawberry. Just my taste.
