Bosuzaru Black IPA 6% Bottle shared by Kouji at Asahiya, also on tap at Beer Belly Temma. A soft cocoa and green hoppy aroma. Medium bodied with a raspy carbonation. The taste has a bit of acrid black patent malts but mostly gives chocolate & a green herbal hoppiness. Good stuff.

On tap at Craft Beer Holiday. Minoh Yuzu Jabara 5% A cloudy gold with an eggshell white head of foam. Ned-light bodied with a raspy carbonation and a sharp finish. The nose is sulfur & egg with weizen clove notes. The taste is Yuzu, wheaty soda bread and earthy jabara? Still not sure what that is but this tastes pretty nice too bad the aroma features eggs...

Jet black, tan head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malts, caramel and chocolate. Sweet flavour, ash, brown sugar and coffee. Sweet finish, caramel, coffee and ash.

Tap at Hobbit. Orange-brown and hazy. Nose of yuzu, caramel, a bit of grassy hop. Flavor is lots of yuzu and some caramel malts. Relies too much on the fruit, hop character almost zero.

Tap at Q-brick. Glowing, hazy gold with a fine, low head. Nice balance of fruit, wheat, and ginger in the nose. Crisp and fruity, dry, with a nicely bitter finish. Good. Crisp, snappy body. Great for summer.

Tap at CBM Koenji. One of the most popular Minoh seasonal beers. Hazy, muddy peach colored cream with a medium-sized off-white head. Very strange nose: sulphur with some blue cheese and light banana. Taste is much better: light banana with big clove and spice and lovely peach on the finish. On tap at Craft Heads. Hazy dark copper with a really nice soapy off-white head. Big caramel nose with some tropical fruits on the nose. Taste is more of the same. Sweet and sticky on the palate, but as it warms the sansho really comes out and adds a peppery kick on the finish. On tap at Craft Heads. Copper colored with a big soapy head. Soft aromas of peach, stone fruit and some light yuzu on the nose. Taste is more of the same, but the yuzu rushes in on the finish. A nice refreshing rush of yuzu, not overberaring. Really easy drinking and not overdone. Malty body but not too heavy. On tap at Craftheads. Pale orange with a nice soapy off-white head. Nice aromas of peach, grape, biscuit and orange. Taste is more of the same with some grapefruit coming through. Very well-balanced.
