Bottle shared at the RBESG 2014, grand tasting 10/08/2014 Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell. Aroma is earthy coffee, roasted malts and some smoked malts. Dark caramel brown coloured pour with a lasting loose tan head. Pretty attractive. Flavour is oak, smoke, peat and and vanilla with some berry fruit. Palate is nice full bodied with a velvety carbonation.

Finally got to try the BB Rich Stout on tap at Beer Belly Temma. It has a rich roasty coffee nose on a pitch black body & a tan creamy head. A sharp carbonation with a medium body. The taste is roasty oats, a bit lactic, chocolate, dark coffee - well balanced, really good stuff.

Tap at Yellow Ape. Golden blond, low lace. Nose of honey, lemon, nicely hops and citrusy. Rich honey and sweet malt flavor, oranges, biscuits. Nice stuff. Sweet but not too much. Not super interesting, but likable and solid.

Tap at 39. Lemony, sudachi nose. Sweet flavor, sudachi juice. Tastes very much like fresh juice was just added to the beer, even though I was told that peels were added to the mash. Pretty raw and sweet, with a bitter, rather astringent finish. Fruit takes over everything.

On tap at garage 39’s 1st anniversary event. Lovely golden copper pour with a thin foamy white head. A fruity hop bouquet with a solid medium bodied and a dry finish. The taste is very sharp piney with fruity citrus. A solid well balanced IPA.

Bottle from Asahiya served in a weizen glass. It pours a cloudy light gold that looks very much like peach juice with a soapy look head of foam. It has a big sweet peach & popcorn aroma - bizarre. The taste is the same this is the beer where I have gotten the most POPCORN flavor/aroma in my life. It is not really unpleasant just incredibly weird, popcorn, peach and light clove spiciness? I am disappointed in you Minoh... not sure if I can finish it or if it’ll be a drain pour...

Can 330ml as Billiken Weizen (bought from Japan, BB 11/2014)
Hazy yellow color, smallish white head. Yeasty, clove spicey aroma with some banana. Light-bodied (light for this ABV). Yeasty and spicey flavor. Light tart citrus. Some banana too but a bit messy and not really refreshing or fruity. Probably better from bottle with yeast.
