Tap at Qbrick. Deep cloudy golden color. Lovely grapefruit nose, light pilsner malts, biscuit, zest. Fabulous grapefurit flavor, crisp, tart, lovely, some muscat, biscuits, melon and a touch of mango later as it warms. Well done. Just a touch sweeter than I want for a session, but good.

Tap at Molto. Deep gold with a fine head. Nose of biscuit malt, some citrus. Not so fragrant. Nice citrus flavor, though, seems like wheat, too. don’t really get much tea, just rich jammy fruit which as it warms you realize is fruit tea or Earl Grey or something like that. Interesting.

Bottle 330ml (Kyoto)
Golden color, small steady white head, some lace. Malty, a bit grassy aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Malty, clean palate with German nobel hops in the flavor. Some sweetness too. Stylish pils, not ovely hopped but well-brewed.

On tap at Yellow Ape Craft. Minoh’s Anniversary beer is a 9.5% cider that pours a deep gold. Rich sweet fruits with just a bit of tartness in the aroma. Kind of light bodied verging on watery. The taste is light sweet a bit woodsy/earthy. Pretty good but simple and the body is kind of light. Not bad for a first attempt at a cider. As it warmed up the malts came forward but it was still a pretty average cider.

Molto’s 2nd Anniversary Collaboration with Minoh. Served at Molto of course. 5% an English-style IPA made with koucha tea leaves & Saaz hops. A light cloudy gold with a thick white head has it looking somewhat witbier like. Malty, fruity hops & koucha in the nose make this aroma top notch. Smooth creamy full palate at first sip that gets drier as it warms up.. The taste is quite interesting, malts, bitter koucha tea but quite a soft flavor then some fruity/herbal hops at the end. Once it warmed up the hops were much more prominent. Not so IPA like, more like an IPL, but I like it quite a lot. A nice sessionable beer.

Draught at Marciero. Fruity apples and malt flavor, some caramel, seems like some hops as well. Rather strong. Simple but decent.
