intensywny, chmielowy zapach - zioła, grapefruit, cytrusy, trawa, ale niestety wyczuwalny alkohol. kolor głębokiego bursztynu, wpadający w miedź, poważnie zmętniony z bardzo dużym i nie chcącym się zbić osadem przy dnie (przez to ciężko dobrze nalać). piana średnio obfita, ale dość trwała, w kolorze złamanej bieli. w smaku pełne, słodkie, słodowe, ale na pierwszy plan zdecydowanie wychodzi grapefruitowa goryczka, jakby jeść samą skórkę z grapefruita. goryczka długa, ale nie ściągająca, raczej czysta w swoim charakterze. wyraźnie rozgrzewające, choć alkohol czuć bardziej w przełyku niż w samym smaku (co jak na 9% jest dość dobrym wynikiem). po wlaniu całości butelki osad rozkłada się po całym szkle, bardzo brzydkimi kłaczkami.

ładny, chmielowy zapach -zioła, żywica i lekkie owoce tropikalne, da się wyczuć dzikie nuty. głęboki, złoty, lekko zmętniony kolor, piany praktycznie brak. bardzo dużo osadu który nie do końca chce się zbić, więc w piwie pływa pełno farfocli. w smaku bardzo ciekawie, wysoka pełnia, wyczuwalna spora słodowość, ale na tym wszystkim dość spora, lecz krótka goryczka przypominająca piołun i skórki z grapefruita. lekkie owoce i wyraźne dzikie nuty w smaku.

Bottle at Taps, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is light resin hop. The flavour is strong bitter with a big alcoholic toothpaste bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A bit one dimensional and damn expensive even for Malaysia, but a decent beer that’s fine to taste once.

350 ml can thanks to Ingo! On May 24, 2014.As "The Billiken Beer - Weizen", 5% ABV.BB 2014-07-09.The slightest bit hazy, straw yellow color, fluffy white head. Sweet, banana ester, some cheese scent. Spicy, clove, sweet, estery banana taste. Spicy aftertaste. Medium to a bit thin mouthfeel, low bitterness.Decent take on the style.

On tap at Craft Beer Live Namba 2014. 5.5% a cloudy copperish-gold with a thick foamy head. The aroma is very fruity hops, with a good dose of Yuzu. Med-light bodied with a zesty mouthfeel. Earthy piney fruit aroma, the taste is fruity hops with a mild dash of Yuzu. Good stuff.

I am guessing this is the Cabernet variant they had on tap at Kamikaze’s 2nd Anniversary event. It pours a dark purple with a pink-white head. A big fruity vinous aroma., a bit musty and sour. Med-light bodied with a silky mouthfeel. The taste is pretty good, grape, red wine, fruity, musty with definite wine character but smooth & balanced better than the regular I remember. A pleasant surprise.

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is floral hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a big resin floral hop mint palate and a lingering minty hop bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. It took a while for this to grow on me. About 30 seconds to be precise :-) Quite an upfront beer but it certainly quenches the tastebuds!

Tap at Tenma. Deep purple with a light purple head. Nose of grapes, tangy but a bit simple. Rich malt flavors underlie the grape and wine notes, light caramel and chocolate notes, some Belgian yeastiness. Decent, and I like it better than the regular. Seems to finish drier.

On tap at Craftman. A clear copper gold pour with a nice hoppy floral nose. Medium bodied, a touch watery but decent mouthfeel. The taste is spicy wheat, touch of pine, floral hops - very tasty.

On tap at CBB, 600 yen for a half pint. A clear deep gold pour with a one cm thick head of opaque white foam - good lacing too. From the glass a lovely citrusy hop bouquet rises Med-light bodied with a spritzy mouthfeel. The taste is pine, lemon, resin & biscuit - well balanced I like it.
