Draught at Beer Belly. Aroma: very fruity, with coriander and wheat. Cloudy, undistinguished color. Decent wheat malt flavor, with banana, clove, citrus. Not great malt, but nicely balanced. Light body. Refreshing. The yuzu flavor really comes through nicely.

Deep copper/amber with a small white head. Heavy hop aroma, malty, vinegar, and caramel. Flavor is rather bitter. Herbal hops, light citrus, and caramel malts. Full bodied. I don’t like the vinegar in the aroma, but it tastes fine and is a decent IIPA.

Tap at Thrash Zone. Dry hopped at the brewery with centennial hops. Strong hop presence in the aroma, molasses, some herbal, and burnt sugars. Strong hops in the flavor as well, sweet malty molasses, bitter hops, herbal notes finish it up. Fairly thick body. Though this is a good brew I found the combination of the flavors a little annoying at the end of the pint. Still, I’d order it again.

Med amber color. Apricots and caramel in the nose. Light bodied, somewhat malty mouth, definitely British accented. However, finish isn’t bitter enough. Nice mouth feel, but otherwise fairly forgettable - not unlikely numerous British bitters.

Golden color with frothy white head. Nose is very hoppy and true to the Czech style, however, I found the body had a bit of diacytle, which I have tasted previously and think it is intentionally a part of the beer, but I didn’t like that. Still the hop profile is solid and nice lingering bitter finish. Potential to be great, but isn’t what I want.

Real ale at Beer Belly. This is a spiced version of their Imperial Stout, with cinnamon, cloves, coriander, and sansho. Big spicy nose, slightly fruity and burnt. flavors of coffee, chocolate and burnt malts along with the spice. Very properly spiced: you definitely taste it, but it is not overwhelming. Rather thin body, though, and not quite Imperial in size. The beer itself seems young and does not compare to its cask aged version. A very nice Christmas beer, though.

A hazy golden color with a nice white head. Malty bread aroma with light, crisp hops in back. Flavor is heavy on the malts, light on the hops. Pretty full bodied for the style. Not a bad pils, but I prefer more hops in my pilsners. (Draught at McLoughlin’s)

Copper in color and crystal clear. Aroma has light hops, malt, some sweet toasted notes also. Flavor is similar with the hops being more of a team player than a dictator. Also some earth and herbal notes. Very easy to drink with a clean, lightly hoppy finish. I could stay with this one all night. (Draught at Thrash Zone)

Golden in color. Aroma is of sweet malts, some clove, banana, spices, and light yeast. I thought the flavor was overly sweet with too much banana. That being said, it was not a bad beer. The spices, yeast, and light chocolate notes were pleasant. Good, but has some room for improvement.

Hazy golden orange color. Very front clovey nose with a hint of milk chocolate. Heavy bock accented mouth with lots of cloves. Very rich. Depth isnt as good as I hoped, but I like the bock accented aspect. Lingering rich bockish finish that isnt too overpowering. Nice without being great

Real Ale at the Brewery. This beer seems slightly different every time. Orange / amber color. No head at all! Strong fruit aroma with big hops and a touch of bubblegum, caramel malt. Quite flat. Little carbonation. Great hop flavor, round as hell. Decent caramel malt. Peppery, citrus. Great hop finish. This has been variable. Here I rate the best.
