330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet; Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.2%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Moderate beige head. Aroma of dark malts, cocoa / chocolate and mild coffee, hints of Christmas spices. Tolerable flavour, a bit too sweet, with the same elements as the aroma. Hints of prunes and other dark fruits. Some bittering hops in the finish. Okay.

Can @ home. Black body under a nice, big, lacing beige head. Mild aroma of gentle roasted dark malt with hint of chocolate and coffee. Taste is sweet, dark, smooth roasted malt, dark chocolate and hint of coffee. Low bitterness. The oak impact is discrete; it’s almost just like a mild spice but I think that’s a good idea in this case. All over a really nice beer, balanced in flavor and body. Relly, really soft and smooth with plenty of flavors.

Can. A decent weizenbock, lacking a bit on complexity. Toffee notes, fruityness, banana, clove hints and some hints of alcohol. Belgian yeast, which surprises me. Anyway, decent. 646412 251129

Dark ruby colour, small beige head. Toasted, a bit sweet nose. Light-bodied. Flavour has some milk chocolate and caramalt. Low bitterness. Neh.

AIH205. Black colour, mediumsized Brown head. Aroma is nutty, some chocolaty, some ashy and mild chocolate cookie tones. Flavour is nutty, chocolaty, some mild sweet malts, fudge and a bit toasted toffeeish tones to it.

Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma has pine, caramalt and touch of alcohol. Light to medium-bodied. Caramalt, harsh, kind of alcoholic vibe (even with only 7%), malty, not much bitterness. Restless.
