Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, yeast, hay, minerals, sour-ish roasted grain, grass, toast, bark, soil, bubblegum, paper, dusty licorice, dark malts, hints ripe banana. Taste is dry sour-ish roasted, weeds, bark, roasted grain, toast, dusty licorice, burnt coffee, dark malts, dark sugar, alcohol, grass, soil. Longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh boozy mouthfeel. Boring.

Bottle. A hazy golden-orange beer with a finger-thick white head. The aroma is on the hoppy side, rather grassy, with a generic fruityness, some tropical fruits and touch of pale malts. It has a good bitterness in the mouth, with pine cones, resin and generic fruityness. Some bready pale malts in the back. Medium body and pleasant carbonation, quite dryish. Bitter, fruity finish. A clean one, but except for the bitterness it's a rather boring and uninteresting beer. 181028

At a tasting, thanks, gushing quickly disappearing bubbly head, murky black color, aroma of dried figs, coal and a whiff of minerals, same traits in flavor but much too sweet and some plastic. Not good.
