Draft pour at Mad Beach Brewing. Interesting beer style to run into on the gulf coast beach. Imperial Black Ale. It's big and toasty, butnhas itsncool piney hop character. Really a mix of about 5 different beer styles here. All add up to a tasty strong ale. It tastes strong, but I want it to honestly. Warming feel to this on a day spent waiting out the hurricane. Bold and well put together.

Draft pour at Mad Beach Brewing. Fun to try their gold medal brew after coming here numerous times over the last few visits to the beach area. Dark near black pour. Lots of flavorful chocolate, coffee, and toasty malt flavors. Easy drinking, flavorful lager with a lingering lightly burnt toast finish. Really nice brew here, and probably my new favorite within their lineup.

Draft pour at Mad Beach Brewing. Clean and clear golden appearance with a fading head. Pretty decent, more classic IPA compared to other offerings of theirs. Has a distinct melon hop profile. Thin body, low bitter, juicy hop and earthy malt linger. Refreshing enough for the Florida heat.

Draft pour at Mad Beach Brewing. Dense pineapple juice haze with very little head. Tons of pineapple and passion fruit in this IPA, with little to be identified underneath it all. Very juicy. A touch sweet. Very flavorful. Hint of coconut. Could be a soap flavor or a beer flavor here. A bit too much fruit, but has good qualities.

Draft pour at Mad Beach Brewing. Thick and dense imperial hazy with a dream foam head and lacing. Pretty intense imperial, and tastes even stronger than the double digit bill already suggests. Big and bold resinous hop character here, with a strong melon and boozy finish. Definitelybgot better as it went. Pretty good, but I'm spoiled with the fresh hop game back home.

Draft pour at Mad Beach Brewing. Hazy orange juice pour, with a thin head, and heavier lacing. Juicy citrus and tropical fruit notes throughout. Slightly creamy body.b smooth refreshing finish. Has a bit of a resinous hop bitter late linger. Grain profile lasts longer on the palate than the sturdy hop bill. Pretty good hazy overall.

Draught at Dunedin HOB on Sunday January 29, 2017.Honey, sweet, a bit tart taste. Honey aftertaste, sweet. SMooth mouthfeel, sweet finish. Honey, sweet, hint of citrus scent. Clear pear color.
