Draft pour at Lucky Envelope. Pours a jet black with no head. Nutty, soy sauce, roasted malt aroma. Flavor is super thick, soy sauce again. A lot wrong with this for me. Hardly tastes like a beer. I feel like I should be pouring it over my sushi instead. A strong beer. Maybe with less booze this has potential. The way it is, very rough beer.

Draft pour at Lucky Envelopment. A dark copper pour with a quick fading head. A nice balanced aroma of toasty malt and bittering hops. Flavor is a cool and toasty malt, with bitter hops to compliment. A nice CDA here. Drinks nicely. Good flavors. Sits calmly for such an imperial black IPA. Overall a pleasant addition to the style. Pretty good.

Draft pour at Lucky Envelope. Amber copper pour with a thin bubble head. Sweet malt aroma. Flavor disbanded rich caramel malt, but sidelined with am odd vegetal constant. Grassy hop addition. Weird red here. Not sure what’s going on with this one. Strange.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of green hatch, citrus and grass with light grains backing. Flavor has an interesting combination of earthy citrus, grass and a growing green chilies.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has mild peanut butter supported by dark grains and a hint of roast. Flavor has earthy dark grains and a bit of sweet peanut butter.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours black with a creamy brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dry dark grains, lots of roasted malts and a bit if coffee. Flavor dry dark grains and strong coffee supported by bitter roasted malts.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a copper hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has tropical fruits and tart raspberries with a bit of funk underlying. Flavor has sweet raspberries with a slight tart note and a hint of funk.
