Draught at the brewery
Cloudy orange-copper-blond colour. Mild fruit aroma, generic stone fruit. It's off-dry, it doesn't have nor the Saison quality, nor the fruit, just muddled blend that seems rather purposeless. Dry finish.
Ok beer, nothing impressive.

473mL can, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral hops, earthy yeast, and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy floral notes, muddy yeast and saison notes. Pretty flat and lacking much depth. It's okay.

Draught at the brewery
Dark brown colour. The body is quite weak. It has mild bready notes and some sour liquor, very mild roasted malts, with very low bitterness.
It tastes like a blend of 2 things that is less than the sum of the parts.

Draught, Alibi. Chocolate malt notes. Mellow sour. Woody notes. Maybe a touch of balsamic. Odd to take a kettle sour and condition it like this, really, but the effect isn't bad.

Aroma of bright tropical fruits. Has a good white foam and mellow gold liquid with some carbonation. Flavour is nice big juicy sourness and heavy hops. Medium on the mouth, good oiliness. It's a nice IPA on the sour side.

Aroma of soft funky caramel. Has a dark copper brown with no foam. Flavour is yeast and hay but not in a prominent way. Mouthfeel is very watery, too much so. This is not a great attempt at this style.

This thing smells like heavy floor cleaner mixed with 7-Up. Has a slightly cloudy gold body with only vague foam on top. The lemon is overly harsh on the tongue with cloying sweetness, it just isn't working for me. Okay balance of oil on the mouth. The lemon is odd and not bringing anything delicious to this equation.

Aroma is mellow grain but sufficient. Has a good clear gold body and just a bit of white head. Flavour is bright crisp lager grains. Very dry finish. This is definitely one of the better local lagers I've tried.

On tap at Powell, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out plenty of oak, toasted caramel and bready malt. Flavour almost seems like a sour doppelbock rather than a Flemish Brown, with notes of balsamic, toasted bready malt and a touch of caramel. Not a whole lot of depth, but it drinks nicely enough. Good stuff.

Draft - Buttery berry. Cloudy maroon with a decent white head. Soured Buttery berry notes. Not sure where the Buttery notes are coming from.
