Can from the brewery
Cloudy golden color, a bit dull. The hop aroma is immediate, as we open the can; it gives orange, grass, hay, chamomile, hint of grapefruit, of incense, of crusty bread; very interesting (8 points plus 0.5 for the originality).
Correctly structured, with mild residual sweetness, the malt base is a bit husky and bready, the hop as expected is quite herbaceous, but it has some resiny quality, bitter orange peel; the yeast has quite some character, some astringency, not sure it is harmonious with that hop character though.
Good, but missing some harmony.

Can - Tons of weedy wet grass. Dank. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Strawberry, leafy Dante and grassy notes. Neat.

Hazy, amber, thin, bubbly head. Assertive brett and weedy hop nose. Bitter, bright marijuana hops, and a fair bit of brett as well. Still nice balancing sweetness. Really a pleasure to drink.

On tap at Powell, pours a cloudy bright golden yellow with a small off-white head. Aroma smells like a pot dispensary, with tons of herbal, dank hops, with considerable funk. Flavour follows suit, with tons of marijuana, dank hops and a very funky character that adds to the pot impression. Nice stuff.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy light golden color. The aroma is very delicate but intriguing, pale malt, biscuits, candied lemon. Dry mouthfeel, the malt base is mild, a bit bready and biscuity, the hopping is mildly resiny and orangey, not very bright, with too evident yeast in the final, that is a bit metallic.
Nice, well constructed.

Cloudy but a bit dull-looking. Big lime and grapefruity El Dorado nose. Fruity, with a light body. Nice hop character. Drinks very easily - the light body, mellow bitterness and bright hop character make for a legitimate quaffer. There’s a little bit too much yeastiness, which muddles up the malt character somewhat, but Powell definitely made a beer for my taste with this one.

On tap at Powell, lots a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of floral hopping, with plenty of hop oils. Flavour is much dryer and flatter, with floral hops, some biscuity malt and oat presence. Oily palate, with light sweetness in there. Solid.

Draught at the brewery
Pale hazy blond color. Weak, dry, it has some crisp element, very low bitterness, definitively clean, but it’s very simple, more can be done.
