Cloudy, pale, with a thin bubbly head. This has a nice bit of bitterness but also that sweet kiss of pale malt. Coriander is noticeable but well-integrated. Hop flavour seems to take a bit of a backseat here.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy blond color with generous head. Light Aroma of lactic acid, simple. Dry but not weak, Light pale malt flavor, Some lactic acid, mild saltiness, but missing a more tart character or some lemon hint, actually almost chewy, probably too yeasty.
Ok.

Draught at the brewery
Murky blond color with generous head. Nice aroma, fruity, very peachy. The mouthfeel is too chewy, too yeasty, maybe it will settle in a few days, the hopping is not too strong, quite fruity.
Nice but too dirty.

On tap at Powell, pours an opaque cloudy, filthy orangey yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very yeasty and messy, with spicy coriander and abrasive hops. Flavour is much too yeasty, with lots of earthy, dirty yeast, clove, some banana, spicy coriander and bittering hops. Much too yeasty and messy. Not good.

On tap at Powell, pours a hazy faded golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light salt, some citric notes and a touch of lacto. Flavour is along the same lines, with lightly tart citric notes upfront, balanced with moderate salt and subtle lacto character. Light and drinkable. Not overly exciting, but it's pleasant.

Pours with that nice, inky black body and medium brown head you like to see in an imperial stout. Lots of bourbon on the nose. Rich, inky , has a nice rich dark chocolate. Bourbon, a little bit of molasses. It’s not like there’s complexity that comes at you in waves; it’s just some really wonderful flavours.

Taster at the brewery. Pours an almost black with a dark beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa, bourbon, some fruitiness. Taste is berries forward with bourbon, chocolate, hops and some cherry notes. Medium body, medium carbonation, quite smooth and slightly boozy. Good BBA IS overall. We need more beers like this in BC.

Medium brown. Not much head. There’s a somewhat bubblegummy whiskey aroma, and taste. There’s a soft chocolate, cocoa taste, light bubblegum, wood. It’s a decent beer.

Draft - Bourbon, coconut and vanilla with some dark chocolate. Jet black brown with a rich light brown head. Bourbon barrels, dark chocolate and some raisin. Balanced and well done with some heat on the throat.
