On tap at Powell Street, pours a clear golden with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out substantial acidity and floral dry hopping. Flavour is much less acidic thankfully, but barely sour at all, with subtle floral dry hopping, a touch of stone fruity tartness and a modest lingering acidity. The most restrained of Powell's sours and least acidic, the latter of which is definitely a plus. Decent.

650 ml bottle. Pours a dark red/mahogany with light off-white/pink head. Aromas of burnt sugar and dried red berries - kinda like a burnt marshmallow. Flavors of dry, bitter dark berries: salal and currant. Not sour, but different and interesting. A palate cleanser - next beer please...

Cask at Mild May Cask Fest, The Belmont, Vancouver
Dark color, almost black, generous b. Thinner than the other Milds at this event, more interesting g in the front, a bit salty, less interesting in the final, a bit stale.
Difficult to finish the glass.

On tap at Powell Street, pours a deep dark purple with a small purplish-beige head. Nose brings out a high degree of acidity and even acetone, along with tart dark berries. Flavour is along the same lines. The berry notes are rather nice, but they are overburdened by the acetone. Body is thin and lacking complexity. Shame - could be good, but as with every single Powell Street sour so far, this has acidity issues.

Draft - Pale malts with just a touch of citrus. Clear gold with a nice white head. Pale malts, some cocoa and wood. Not really the peat I expected, not sure I can eccentric call it that.

2019-03-13, bottle, 3 years old, 5-3-5-1-9=23
The aroma has some tobacco, soil, rancid butter. Buttery and oxidized. Sometimes dark Sours can get interesting after some time, but not this one, it's actually very bad.

The aroma is a bit metallic, tin, very light berries. Dry mouthfeel, light but not too thin; it has some chocolate quality and the berries add a vinous character, mild elderberry wine, and moderate acidity. Dry and rather watery final.
Nothing spectacular, but it seems a bit more interesting than the young sample from tap.

2016-05-09, draught at the brewery, 6-4-6-2-11=29
Dark color, brown, almost black, with purple hue and pinkish small head. The aroma is too mild; wood, fruits, sourness. A bit too much carbonated and a bit too dry; not much flavor, it's a bit woody and astringent, light acidity.
Not a bad beer, but probably the Saskatoon berry is not so good, and overall bit terribly lacks of depth.

Draught at the brewery (Powell Street)
Hazy blond color. Mild aroma of cereal husks, hay, peat. Dry, crispy, with delicate crackery malt flavor and a light saline touch; moderate bitterness.
Interesting, clean. I would push it a bit further, with some more assertive crackery Pilsner malts.

2016-10-07, cask at the brewery, dry hopped with Chinook and Azacca, 6-4-7-4-15=36
Hazy golden color. Good malt qualities, moderately sweet, with a nice, strong citrus peel character, but a bit too warm and undercarbonated.
Very pleasant though, I could drink a bit of this and think I’m in England.
Draught at the brewery
Golden color, just hazy, with compact head. The aroma is very nice, resiny and fruity, oranges and a bit of mango, lightly sweaty. Strong mouthfeel, the malts are a bit chewy, the flavor is moderately sweet, some light colored caramel and toffee, followed by strong bitterness, very resiny; unfortunately the pithy bitterness in the final is a bit off-putting.
Mixed feelings.
