Poured from 650mL bottle. Clear, orangey yellow with full white head. Light floral hops dominant on the aroma. Cereal grain malt flavour with a bit of floral and grassy hops on the finish. A decent beer all around, but doesn’t really stand out in any way.

Hazy amber color with compact head. The aroma, and even more the flavor, have a character of cereals, husks, grains; the mouthfeel is quite dry, highly carbonated; strong bitterness, but the hops are dusty and resiny, not bright, not fruity. The final is a bit caramelly.
Not a bad beer, but not exactly what was expected.

On tap at a Powell Street, pours a clear golden orange with a medium beige head. Aroma is clean, full of fresh floral hops, some resin and caramel malt. Flavour is much the same, bringing out clear fresh floral hops that dominate the palate. There is some resin and a dry crackery malt backing. Everything is in good balance. Very nice stuff.

Cloudy copper-amber color with compact head. Very nice aroma, a bit citrusy, and some positive yeast presence, lightly cheesy, caramel and biscuits, with a British impression (7.5). The mouthfeel is very dry; caramel flavor, but it has a paper trace; strong bitterness, with some dry resins; fresh, but more fruitiness was expected from these hops, and maybe a different malt profile.
The final is a bit boring.
Not bad.
One extra point because in the taproom they are playing Ben Harper while I sip my beer.

Hazy light tan. Aroma is light mandarin, bit biscuity and earthy. Balanced character, little bit of bitterness in the finish and biscuity mellow maltiness up front.

Hazy light hazy, big hop aroma - gooseberry, Riesling, pineapple, maybe berryish -and that citra litterbox accent, but suffice to say explosive hops. Light bodied, stacks of tongue-scraping bitterness, the malt is little more than a honeyish kiss in the finish. Damn fine brew.

Hazy amber, hoppy-toasty aroma, mellow bitterness, lots of caramel sweetness, not particularly bright. I like Powell a lot, but this isn’t one of their better beers.

Light brown, sweet chocolatey nose. Sweet front, touch of chocolate, dash of fudginess. Not the greatest character for me.

Cloudy pale, big spicy nose with lots of citra, coriander, soft, sweet malts, lots of hop bitterness, coriander spice, dash of mandarin hop. Good for style, relatively clean.

Light tan, big fresh ginger aroma, with a bit of yeastiness, soft, sweet body with a lot of cardamom and a dash if orange peel, bit of ginger. Aggressive but refined character.
