Tap - before I ordered this, I did not realize that I’d had the base beer and didn’t like it - this is an improvement, but needs work - nose of raisin, fig, tamarind, oak, cab, light acid - watery texture, flabby and lifeless in the mouth - initially has a mild acetic/vinegar quality up front - middle is sweet, with brown sugar, tamarind, strong oak and wine character - finish has a moderate red wine vinegar character - well-masked alcohol, at least - needs work.

On tap @ the brewery. Golden orange appearance with a white head. Soapy, floral, light citrus, goopy, slightly dank aroma. Medium full body. Moderate high bitterness and sweetness. A little boozy. A little resiny, piney, caramel flavor. I can’t even detect the camomile. Forgettable.

On tap @ the brewery. Hazy dark brown appearance with a light brown head. The aroma is nutty, a little spicy, light celery, and some caramel. Dull carbonation. Stalky vegetables, grass, cooked veggies, and toffee in the flavor. Poor.

On tap @ the brewery. A little hazy dark orange appearance with a light brown head. The aroma smells nice. Lots of juicy grapefruit, some tropical fruit like pineapple and papaya, and some hop spice. Medium body. Medium high bitterness and sweetness. A little goopy but not awful. Caramel, toasted malt, light pine, lightly dank, very citrusy flavor. Average ipa.

On tap @ the brewery. Bright glowing orange, cloudy appearance with a white head. Actually, kind of herbal/grassy bitterness in the nose with some pepper, lemon, orange, and banana. Moderate high carbonation. Bitterness is again pretty high for the style. OK flavor. Some banana and lemon with a light spiciness. OK.
