Tap - hazy red beer - more of a fruit beer, really, but I won’t contest the saison designation, I guess - aroma is lighty phenolic, mildly rustic, with some artifical, Luden’s cough drops kind of cherry character - moderate carbonation, decent mouthfeel - like other beers I’ve had from this brewer, the flavor is bland, sterile, simple - vaguely saison-ish rusticness, syrupy sweetness - finishes with cherry cough syrup character - not impressed with this brewer.

Tap @ Loveland Aleworks. Pours a hazy yellow orange appearance with a white head and decent head retention. Pineapple/tropical fruity, lightly sweet, honey aroma. A bit bready, very faint butter, citrusy, herbal hoppy flavor. Ok.

Tap @ Loveland Aleworks. Pours a hazy reddish brown appearance with a tan head. Chocolate, coconut, light coffee, herbal aroma. A bit grainy oak, but the chocolate and coconut really still shine through. I preferred the normal version a bit better.

Tap @ Loveland Aleworks. Pours a hazy, reddish brown appearance with a tan head. Big coconut, vanilla, chocolate, nutty aroma. A bit thin and a touch watery but otherwise quite delicious beer that just tastes like a macaroon. Lots of chocolate and coconut. Not much else.

Tap at the brewery - milky pour, light red color - aroma is earthy raspberry, light acetic character, light brine/salt, very mild funk - flavor is dull yeast, mild acetic acid, mild funk, moderate earthy whole raspberries - not great, but not as bad as the other ratings suggest.

Tap at the brewery - dark ruby, nearly black - nose of anise, chocolate, tobacco, strong black malt bitterness, woody hops - flavor is medium sweet up front, but is mostly bitter, with a rather abrasive acidity to it all around - tobacco, bitter coffee, anise, light smoke - kind of abrasive and tough to drink, despite its good qualities.

Tap at the brewery - light gold with a very slight haze - I was excited about this, since it is sub-6% - however, it falls pretty short for me - tastes sterile - it is dry and crisp, with very mild peppery phenols, but otherwise it tastes like dull grains and yeast - very neutral in flavor - just yeast, grain, and light peppery character - meh.
