Sampled from draught @ Oirschots Bierfestival 2016. Hazy amber color, medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, light diacetyl, sweet malts lightly, softly bitter thereafter. Decent to medium body, average carbonation. Hmm don’t really like it.

Sampled from draught @ Oirschots Bierfestival 2016. Hazy yellow color, medium to full sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is wheat, floral, blossomy, moderately fruity. Taste wheat, a hint of sugar strangely enough, floral hops, lightly fruity. Decent body and suitable soft carbonation. Quite pleasant.

Flesje thuis gedronken. Donkerbruin, helder bier met stevige schuimkraag. Fruitig aroma met wat zoethout. Een beetje caramelachtig tijdens het drinken. In de nasmaak komt de hop naar voren.

Bottle @ home. Medium body, low carbo, not too sweet, not too herbal, slightly toasty.. Pretty likeable abbey double for me. --- Beer merged from original tick of Dubbel on 22 Dec 2018 at 14:58 - Score: 6. Original review text: Prima dubbel.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Hazy, murky orange color, small white to off-white head that diminishes quickly. Don’t get a lot of aroma at all. Taste wheat, lightly citrus, lightly hayish, a hint of yeast, lightly bitter finish. Average body, a bit sharp carbonation. Decent enough beer though.

Bottle @ home. Clear yellow golden color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly yeast, initially a bit sweet, malt sweetness finishing lightly bitter. Average to decent body and carbonation. Another one of so so many Belgian Blond beers.
