Very dark brown. Peachy, hoppy aroma with coffeeish undertone. Sort of a thin body, with a deep burnt fruit character. Some coffeeish, nutty notes mid-palate, followed by a splash of alcohol in the finish. Has a thickness of body that lends a pleasing creaminess.

Has a nice reddish-brown glow. Thin head. Malty nose with plums, raisins and a hint of brown sugar. Firm alcohol grips the palate, leaving burnt fruits and traces of chocolate in its wake. Finishes with a mix of alcoholic dryness and sweet apricot, fig and raisin. Interesting the way this beer approaches you, but it retains a style and class that puts it ahead of its peers.

Murky purplish-brown. Fruity, bubblegummy nose. Deeply fruity - sour cherries, blackberry, some earthy notes. Stiff alcoholic finish. Big, chewy, fruity.

Brick amber colour. Has a tropical fruit hoppiness in the nose with a light toasty malt character. Blueberry and cantaloupe taste with moderate bitterness and a malt character mixing caramel and toastiness.

"Father Theodore’s Imperial Stout" On draft - Stogies and Stouts at Dunedin Brewery 02/08/07. Poured into the sampler glass a stout-ish look with dark liquid nectar and tan head. The aroma is on the light side. I smell a bit of wine grapes (maybe tart smelling) as well as some sweet malts. Mouth feel is a tad thin. The flavor has hints of red wine grapes, a bit of alcohol, hints of dates and plums and some sweet malts.

Draught at Abbey Brewing Company Miami Beach, Florida. Clear nut brown. Caramelly from nose to finish. Medium bodied and surprisingly soothing and drinkable for a berr it’s size. Behind the caramel some apricot lurk, followed by a lingering salty finish. Well balanced and fairly straightforward. Abbey Brewing Co. is, even if their beer is really brewed at Indian River/Ybor City, really a wonderful place to go and their beer selection is great even disregarding their house beers.

Draught at Abbey Brewing Company Miami Beach, Florida. Very black. Rich chocolate aroma. Very full bodied with loads of toasty malt, still the mouthfeel is gentle and soft. There’s notes of figs and a wealth of licorice in the finish. Powerful, yet refined.

Draught at Abbey Brewing Company Miami Beach, Florida. Pale amber. Fruity apricot and melon aroma. Dry with clean mouthfeel and medium body. An odd, dusty near smokey flavour disturbs the grapefruity hops. Long. salty, bitter finish.

Draught at Abbey Brewing Company Miami Beach, Florida. Mahogany colour, clear. Aroma od dades along with chocolate. Fruity and intendelsy malty with fairly clean mouthfeel and a much higher hop rate than most Belgian ales. Alcohol adds to the vinous character. Salty licorice finish. A big, bold beer.
