Very nice. It was a seasonal but the server told me that it was popular enough to make it part of the regular line up. Featured a nice piney hop aroma to start. Flavor was light, was a mild resiny hop. Malts were light but sweet and bready. Finish only mildly bitter. Faded copper color with nice lacing.

MWBF 2006: Smells like cold coffee, with a touch of roasted malt. A tad acrid and bitter with roasted malts, not much in the way of hops. Generally also lacking in any malt sweetness to hold it up at all. Quite thin actually. Brown with light head. update from sample at brewery: unchanged rating, still thin with coffee and cocoa.

I sure wish they would’ve picked some better beers to bring to the Midwest beerfest! MWBF 2006: Very lemony in the aroma but not much else, generally plain. Zesty and lemony with a touch of mint. Only slightly above average. Yellow color. Update: unchanged reaction based on sample at brewpub.
