Clear dark brown to almost black beer, creamy irregular beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: sweet, banana, lots of banana, caramel, fudge, bit sugary. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: pretty sweet, sugary, lots of banana, soft roasted flavour. Aftertaste: sweet, banana, caramel, sugary, yeasty, too sweet actually, touch of honey.

Clear purple to dark brown beer, big creamy off-white to beige head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: malty, caramel, bit metallic, cheesy notes. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very roasted, dark chocolate, spicy, liquorish, charcoal. Aftertaste: bit sourish, overripe banana, red currant, mocha, very roasted, bit funky. Too much roast to my liking...

Cloudy amber to red brown beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving nice rings of lace in the glass with each sip. Aroma: bit sweet, fruity, apple sauce, spicy touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit dusty, yeast, some band-aid, bitter. Aftertaste: pretty hoppy, bit off, spicy, dusty. Didn't particularly like this brew...

Taste: very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, bit sweet, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: bitter hops, banana, lots of grains, malts, cow fodder, slightly sweet, hint of caramel, pretty hoppy finish, banana peel.

Very cloudy amber to beige brown beer, aery irregular frothy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: yeasty, cow fodder, vegetables, grains, hay, a bit off. MF: ok carbon, light body. Taste: pretty bitter, malty, some citrus, grassy hops, black tea. Aftertaste: bitter, grassy, bit fruity, some caramel, malty touch, very bitter, some tannin like bitterness.

Eines meiner ersten tschechischen Dunklen. dazu noch direkt vom Wirtshaustank. Ein wirklich schönes Bier, das sicher besser wirkt, wenn man es in der urigen Atmosphäre des schönen Wirtshaus am Hauptplatz von Kremsier trinkt. Es hat einen süßen Kern, aber einen rauchig-herben Nachtrunk, wobei der Übergang so sanft ist, dass das Bier einfach rund wirkt. Vielleicht kein groß kratives Bier, aber wirklich gut solide.

An ein Weizen trauen sich wenige tschechische (Haus-)brauereien und wenn, dass ist es meist sehr fad und wässrig, oder gleich ein WItbier. Hier trifft man den bayrischen Klassiker ganz gut. Es hat schöne, wenn auch nicht zu starke Fruchtaromen und einen hefigen Abgang. Die fehlende Stärke wird duch einen toll ausgewogenen Körper ausgeglichen. Kann man trinken.
