Bottle from Barrel + Beam. This is just a beautiful beer. Everything I love in saison. Horseblanket, lime, lemon and light clove as it warms. Balanced and endlessly drinkable. Great carbonation.

12 ounce can from the brewery, 7/22/23. Slightly hazy pale gold, thin off-white head, average retention. Aroma of brett, citrus, oak. Actually reminds me of a Wisconsin Old Fashioned. Taste is brett, stone fruit, vanilla, pale malt. Crisp, bright, well balanced. Nice.

Pint can from the brewery, 7/15/23. Hazy pale gold, not much head. Aroma of sweet apple and pear, bit of smoke. Taste is dry pear and apple, pepper. Crisp, high carb. Solid.

Capped 375 mL bottle from the brewery, 7/7/23. Pale yellow, thin white head, average retention. Aroma of tart and funky apple, bit of vanilla. Taste is much the same. Crisp, well balanced. Simple but quite nice.

Pint can from the brewery, 7/6/23. Hazy pale yellow, medium off-white head, average retention. Aroma of dank, resin, green hops, pale malt. Taste is green, dank, resin, lemon rind, pale malt. Moderate bitterness, well balanced. Nice.

Draft at the Delft in downtown Marquette. Pours a clear gold with a finger of white foam. Grainy nose with light bread aromas. Crisp and clean on the palate, medium bodied and feels light on the palate, but not watery. Great drinkability. Nice balanced finish.

Draft at Barrel + Beam. Pours a clear straw gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Funky barnyard aromas on the nose - horseblanket, tangerine zest and honey all present. Palate is similar with a barnyard-y dry honey note and lingering tangerine fruit and zest. Dry finish. Excellent.

Draft at Barrel + Beam. Pours a hazy, glowing yellow with a finger of white foam. Passionfruit focused nose with some light herbal pine in the background as it warms. More pine on the palate with passionfruit still there. It's an interesting combination, but a small pour was enough for me.
