Mini-bottle thanks to wchesser! pours murky mahogany, no head or lacing. Aroma is cherries for sure, oak tannin, light vinous notes. Taste is medium sweet, fairly tart, but a tart cherry more than a lacto tartness. Oak tannin, red grapes. Full body, rich. Some ABV heat. Not really any bourbon going on, oddly enough.

From wchesser, thanks: pours deep red with no head. Aroma is a huge burst of cherry, wood, and just a hint of booze. Taste is sweet, lightly tart, very full of cherry. It is indeed a little hard to find the beer here, and I am sure there are cherry wines that are pretty much this, but it is still very nice to sip on.
