Pale yellow, good white head. Banana-sweets or -gums, artificially smelling. Nothing left besides, except a bit of chalk. Very sweet taste but with an immediate sourish surrounding. Banana-taste is better, less artificial than the smell, though. Light bodied. Slight acidity (fruit? carbonation?) makes it more refreshing than expected. Aftertaste: banana, rarara. Fore those amongst us with a real sweet tooth. Must confess I expected worse - much worse.

Clear pale yellow; thick, irregular head. Flowery nose, a bit spicey, some hops. Sweet taste, like scorzanera (salsifis) or mannah. Mouthfeel is refreshing, light bodied. Yes, nice, strange spicey taste calling up long-forgotten associations. But nothing to go rave about...

Blonde in colour, with a nice fluffy white head. Yeastie smell with not too much other aromas rising. The taste was fairly yeastie and also clovey and bananay. A typical wheat, but not the best representation i've had. A decent beer...good for a normal wheat, but this shouldn't be looked at as anything special. Sampled on tap at the Old Toad in Rochester, New York.

Sweet flowery hop and citrus aroma. hazy golden, soapy head, which dissipates fast. Citrus flavors and much of the usual belgian background radiation. Maybe I am just not in the mood, but the beer seems to have a bit too much of the strong flavoring - balance is off. Fine fizzy carbonation in the mouth, lowers the fullness.

Light brown/dark orange beer with a pure white head (brilliant appearance). The aroma is light with a sour undertone. The flavour is not that strong, the slight sourness and citric elements come through. Another great Belgian beer.

Good overall colour, very dark, but not opaque. Good strong smell, with definately malty characteristics. Nice strong flavour, but not my favourite belgian strong ale! Definately worth a try!

Ligth golden colour. White head. Wheat-flavour. Dito aroma: nothing special, an average belgian ale.

Cloudy pink orange color, with a nice thick creamy head. Smells of freshly squished strawberry, but a bit artificial, paint-like. Taste is pretty ok actually, strawberry all over the place, but the palate is horrible, dry strawberry-paint reminiscents. Ugh.

Hazy amber color, big head, disappearing pretty quickly. Some aroma of malt and sugar. Good malty body, just a little presence of alcohol; turning into some sweet liquorice toward the end. Final with a strong bitterness, complemented by some liquorice.
