Dark amber, fizzy large head; bit of malt and caramel, quite some alcohol feeling, some Belgian character, but no depth.

Dark amber ale. Malt aroma. Sweet malt flavour, strong alcohol, too much liquorice taste. Palate strong, but not convincing, lacks the aroma hop. Strong, without class.

Blond ale. Common hop aroma. Alcohol, some body but not enough, the malt lacks. Ordinary palate.

Strangely large fizzy head. Pale blonde color, cloudy. Crisp, hoppy aroma, smells almost like a pilsner. First sip is sour, and powerful, turning bitter. Interesting and complex. Finishes very yeasty, with complex mix of malt and hops. Definitely a powerful beer - not for everyone.
