Draft .5 liter pour at Masonry, Fremont. A fun beer here to start a night of celebration. A mostly clean golden pour. Cool to find these guys on draft finally. And in a less than expected location. A soft orange spice to this unique style. Some cook citrus to pair. Low bitter, light feel overall, but quite flavorful. Really nice brew overall.

Cloudy blond color. Nice Brett aroma, strong lemony flevor, strong acidity, grapes, astringent and puckery final. Extreme and not too elegant, but nice.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is fairly fruity with quite a bit of plum and other stone fruit. Lighter pear, citrus and red apple notes with some tropical fruit as well. Light oak and a bit of basement mustiness. Light floral notes and faint phenolics. Pours a fairly clear, copper-orange color with a very small, thin, white head that disappears quickly. No lacing or legs. Flavor is moderately sweet and lightly acidic with some light cracker malt notes. Quite a bit of plum flavor with a medium light bitterness. Light oak notes with a bit of grape, citrus and tropical fruit. Hints of pear, flowers and red apple. Faint phenolics. Mouthfeel is medium.bodied with low carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice, fruity, plum-forward saison but it would definitely benefit from more carbonation. Light acidity works nicely with the fruit notes.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is fairly fruity with some pear, red apple,peach and lemon. Light grassy and herbal phenolics. Hints of toasted bread, chocolate and rye. Pours an amber brown with a very large, thick, pillowy, tan head that recedes slowly but steadily to a thin film that lingers. This is a slow gusher. Medium light lacing and faint legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with some rye, toasted bread and hints of chocolate. Medium light bitterness and faint alcohol spice. Light herbal phenolic notes. Moderate fruity pear, red apple and stone fruit notes with some light citrus. Light acidity. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with high carbonation. Low astringency and low, but present alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright beer. Flavor is better than the aroma, but not amazing. Decent fruity notes and balanced malt profile, but in the aroma the fruit notes are too strong.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is really herbal forward. Lots of gin notes with juniper, pine and lavender. Light herbal hop notes and a bit of citrus. Faint grain and oak notes. Pours a somewhat hazy, pale, gold color with a large, pillowy, white head that recedes slowly to a thin film that lingers. Medium amounts of lacing and faint legs. Flavor has a medium to medium light sweetness with some light grain notes. Light acidity with hints of lemon. Medium bitterness and faint oak. Lots of gin notes with juniper, light pine and a lot of floral notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent beer and probably the best of the first three club beers, but the sweetness is too much. The beer needs to be drier so the sweetness doesn't clash with the gin notes. Gin notes are a bit too strong as well; tastes a bit like a gin boilermaker.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is fairly ester forward and similar to the last one, but with a bit less red apple character. Some light citrus notes and a bit of grain. Light tropical fruit as well. Pours a hazy, copper color with a medium large, creamy, white head that recedes steadily to a thin film that lingers for quite some time. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness with a bit of a grain note. Low bitterness with a hint of alcohol spice. Some medium light citrus with hints of tropical fruit and a bit of pear esters. Faint phenolics. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium large carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a good saison. Nice fruity esters with a bit of a light malt note and faint phenolics. Hints of citrus and acidity brighten the malt profile a bit.

Pours from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is ester forward with red apple and over ripe pear notes. Faint peppery phenolic notes. Hints of grain and faint oak. Pours a somewhat hazy, copper-orange with a medium large, thick, pillowy white head that recedes steadily to a thin film that lingers. Moderate lacing and no legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness with a light grain note. Medium bitterness and low alcohol warmth. Moderate esters with some pear and red apple. Light peppery phenolics and a hint of acidity. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low, but present alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent saison. It reminds me a bit of the Fantome bug character with the strong red apple and pear esters.
