Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark amber with a beige head. Light brown sugar aroma. Med + body. Flavor is brown sugar with something nice I can’t put a name to. Fruit? Floral? No apparent heat. Very good, finishing not sticky.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours amber with a creamy white head. Pine aroma. Med + body. Flavor is pine over caramel. Quite hoppy. Mild burn. Finishes hoppy and bitter. Just excellent.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours black with a tan head. Aromas of chocolate and perhaps coffee. Med + body. Flavors of smooth dark malt, dark fruits, a little treacle, and I think coffee. It’s very tasty. More than most.
