Draft: Poured a pitch black with a tan color head. Aroma was roasted malt. Taste was similar with roasted malt and caramel, finished with a bitter dry bite.

Draft: Poured an amber with a off white head. Aroma was light malt. Taste was a sweet malt, but very thin and watery.

On tap at Christo’s Palace, Seward. Murky medium orange-brown body, thick to medium puffy tight beige head. Caramely nose with toast and sweet berries. Sharply carbonated body; tangy, bitter, and cerealy, with toasted Cheerios and brown sugar notes. Pretty good.

On tap at Cafe Cups, Homer, AK. Medium straw-orange body, thin off-white head. Bready nose with floral, piny, bitter hops. Bready body, toasty and somewhat tangy with flabby bitter, spicy, herbal hops. A mediocre beer at a great restaurant.
