Pleasant. Virgin Islands Brewing Co is the best and only Micro in the Virgin Islands. A good middle of the road brown ale.

Somewhat fruity for a lager, but it should appeal to light beer drinkers. I prefer the Blackbeard ale which has a little more body.

Pretty astringent for amber with some residual sourness at the end. Pours amber. Not much hops or anything. Looks ok for style though. Bottle from store in St. John.

Hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, dark sugar and rum with dried fruit and vanilla notes. Sweet, but thin caramel flavour with vanilla and raw oak.

Bottled.
Courtesy of Mika H & Family, bought from US Virgin Island, thanks for a new country! Dark copper brown - red color, small off-white head. Grassy, berryish aroma (not the most freshiest bottle?). Watery palate. Light caramel, malts, grassy hops, red currant, harsh finish. Boring, not very fresh.

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is cookies, quite crisp wooden notes as well as mild caramelly notes. Flavour is rather grassy, caramel, some mild dry wooden notes as well. Semidry palate.
