Description
BRÚ Brewery was established in 2013 in County Meath, Ireland. It was driven by a passion to brew high quality, accessible beers for everyday drinkers. We’re proudly Irish, independent and committed to using only the best ingredients in brewing. Thanks to exciting new developments in 2019, we’ve grown to a brewing capacity of 75 hectolitres and now offer two core ranges driven by the same brewing spirit: BRÚ core and Urban Jungle.

Cask @ Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Mahogany coloured as stated in its notes with a creamy head. It’s a light tasting malty brew, nothing roasted or toasted but edging that way.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark brown, almost black, with very fine brown foam. Aroma is very nice with chocolate/cacao, some roasty. Body is slightly thin, with average carbonation. Taste is medium bitter, roasty. Final is average.

Chocolate brown with no head. Aroma of chocolate cake. Flavour is warm sweet fruits, strong booze cake, all a bit too intense.

Hand pumped at FOB, Rimini, Italy, as Nitro Stout. Pours pitch black with a thin line of cream foam, irregular. Aroma is coffee and licorice. Body is average, with no carbonation. Taste is roasty, with some bitterness, but falls a little flat. Final is short.

44cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours medium hazy golden, with medium grained white foam. Aroma is intensely fruity, citrus like mandarin. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is medium bitter, with a bit of sweetness behind. Final is fairly long and medium bitter.

Hazy yellow with a medium head. Aroma of overripe melon. Flavour is bitter fruits, hoppy watery tart fruits on the base, long dry bitter pepper finish.
