Draught at CBC. Creamy white good mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. MOderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Some vanilla notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

On tap at CBC, pours a near-black with a small beige head. Aroma of woody roasted malt upfront, and loads of dark blackberries. Flavour of dry blackberries, some toasted malt in the background, and soft woody notes. Pretty simple impie stout, with not much depth. Decent stuff, but leaves much to be desired.

On tap at CBC, pours a cloudy dark orange with a tiny beige head. Aroma of complex caramel notes, light dark fruits, and heavy booze. Flavour of sweet caramel, loads of liqueur, alcohol, and residual sugars. Quite complex, with a great balance of flavours. Very nice barley wine.

CBC. Hazy brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and butter. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 030513

Sampled @ CBC 2013. Clear golden color, small white lacing. Smell malts and a bit buttery. Taste malts, lightly bitter, not much more. No real flaws, but not really enjoyable either.

Draught at CBC ’13. Clear golden liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma was quite hoppy and a bit herbal with notes of citrus, pepper, stale hops and a grainy malt character. Taste is dry with a light to medium bitterness and notes of pepper, grain and sweet fruit. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Pretty run of the mill APA.
